MY VERDICT: She had a rocky start at the PCAs on Wednesday, but Jennifer has had two back-to-back fashion wins this week—and both of them were the result of the new Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 collection! If you saw my latest Wish List, you’ll know that I saw the line as a go-to for Jen so I’m pretty psyched to see that she took an interest. Today she looked fantastic in a sleeveless multicolor blocked sheath dress, which featured peplums at the hips. Although she passed on the neon trim leather belt (bummer!) Jen slipped on the black, white and hot pink mesh ankle strap pumps that were worn by the model.
The shoes were exclusively designed by Casadei for the collection.
I really, really love this on her! It’s young, fun, and obviously hip—but, the slim cut and colors also flatter Jen’s fabulous curvy figure. This was a perfect fit, even though I’m missing the sheer detail at the hem. Perhaps the look would have been perfectly polished with a sleek ponytail, but I actually dig her loose and healthy golden waves. At least judging by this photo.
Jen put the finishing touches on with light makeup for the daytime event; she’s carrying the “Holland Park” black and gold clutch by Jill Milan and wearing a sparkling Graziela “Precious Snake” ring with champagne and brown diamonds!
